History

Winny commenced operations in 1982, primarily helping artisans and workers to find employment in the then booming construction industry in the Middle East. Value-added facilitation services like for foreign Visa, overseas work-permit and international travel were essential to succeed in highly competitive industry. In the process of gaining knowledge and developing skills to provide these services, Winny also learnt about the similar services required by bright and meritorious students desirous of pursuing higher education in internationally renowned academic institutions.

While the demand for manpower in the Middle-East kept fluctuating, the number of Indian students seeking education abroad swelled. Though the United Kingdom continued to be a destination of choice, the USA attracted more students, offering not just the variety of degrees and programs but also plenty of employment opportunities.

As education gained the status of an 'industry', more developed countries opened their doors to overseas students. Canada, Australia and New Zealand - the three Anglophone nations - became the alternative choices for Indian students with at least elementary knowledge of - if not proficient in - English language.

The second-generation of founders of Winny attended structured training programs, gained recognition and established strategic alliances with academic institutions of repute.

After twenty five years since the modest beginning in 1982, Winny Immigration & Education Services Private Limited was incorporated as a Company with Limited liabilities under the Indian Companies Act. With eight associates in India and a sister-concern each in Canada and New Zealand, WIES is well poised to play a major role in International Student Recruitment Counseling.

 

Management

WIES is managed by a Board of Directors headed by Director & CEO, Mr. Pranay Shah, who is an Authorized Immigration Consultant for Canada (Certified by Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants - M041127). He is also a Fellow of Canadian Migration Institute.

He is ably supported by a Whole-time Director, Mr. Jignesh Patel, who has a long experience in immigration counselling and documentation.

The WIES team boasts of several highly experienced managers, executives, counsellors and tutors providing quality comprehensive services to students, immigration aspirants as well as associate academic institutions.
